Hillside Nursery & Forest School is a Lancashire County Council maintained Nursery School offering places for children from 9 months to 4 years old. We offer government funded places and parent funded places to children from 9 months.
New government funding is now available from September 2025 so children from 9 months, who have two working parents, can access 30 hours free with the working parent code.
There is also the free entitlement of 15 hours per week during term time to all 3 and 4 year old children and, for some families, 15 hours is available from 2 years.
Children will be offered places in the Nursery on a first come first served basis if they meet the eligibility criteria. Children will be put on a waiting list if there are no spaces and parents will be contacted if a space becomes available.
